Come along and have some fun with Shellharbour Surf Club for 2010/2011 season.

REGISTRATION DAYS

Shellharbour Surf Club registrations for 2010/11 season will be taking place on Sunday the 12^th and 26^th September from 10am – 2pm at Leonie’s Swim for Life at Sunset Avenue, Warilla. This will allow for mandatory preliminary evaluation pool swims to be completed for all Nippers (U8-U14). All under 9’s age group and above need to complete a proficiency pool swim to enable them to compete in the water at any carnival or club point score. No completed pool swim, means no water activities. Further details of these requirements can be found in our Club Handbook.

This year we are moving to online registrations to minimise paperwork and the demand on volunteers. To register, click on the link www.lifesavingonline.com.au/SLSA_Online/modules/home/index.php and follow the prompts. Follow this process for each child/member. Once completed, you still need to pay your fees on registration day (or via cheque to Shellharbour SLSC, PO Box 4015, Shellharbour 2529) Remember your username and password for future in case you change any of your personal details so the club can communicate with you. During the season Registrations will be accepted on club days – normally Sunday mornings from 9am – 11am (Refer to the Events Calendar for dates). Please ensure the swim requirement forms are completed and signed before registering in person during the season.

Pool Swim Form

ADDITIONAL FORMS TO BE SUBMITTED WHEN PAYING FEES

The child protection form has been replaced with the Volunteer/Student Declaration Form. All members over 18 and members under the age of 18 who have completed their SRC or Bronze must complete this new form this year ONCE ONLY, not annually.

Under 8 to 14 age groups $70
Family $200
Seniors - $40 + Competition Levy of $30 for competition outside Branch

Junior members need to wear a coloured age cap (cost $12)

Our Patrolling season will commence on the 25th September, all patrolling members must be financial and have completed registration process and child protection forms prior to taking the beach.

Our season for our junior’s members will be kicking off with our first training day on

Sunday 10th October. All junior members must be financial and have a parent/guardian complete registration process for each child prior to taking the beach.
