How to
renew your membership by registering online
for the first time at Shellharbour SLSC
PLEASE READ
THIS GUIDE AND CONSTANTLY REFER TO IT AS YOU
COMPLETE THE REGISTRATION PROCESS.FOLLOW
IT EXACTLY!
1.If you are an existing member and
this is your first time registering online the first
thing you must do before attempting
registration is send me an email providing ONE
email address and ONE mobile number so that I
can enter this information into the
“Surfguard’ database. If this is not done
you will not be able to register online.
Wait for a reply confirming these details have
been entered before attempting online
registration. I suggest the same email and
mobile for all family members with this initial
login. You can always change individual details
when you have finally logged in. Click on the
following link and provide me with ONE email
address and ONE mobile number and wait for a
reply:michaelflood@exemail.com.au
2.Log onto the link below but keep
reading this guide and follow it EXACTLY:
SLSA_Online
a)Look at the top of page and click
on ‘Create Account’
b)Read and click ‘Yes’
c)Enter your details and select
whether you want to be verified by email or
mobile. If you select email they
will send you a link that you click on that will
allow you to enter the site with your username
and password. If you select mobile you
will be sent a confirmation code that needs to
be entered into the website with your username
and password. For your username I suggest you
use your first and last name without any gap,
all in lower case, i.e.johnbrown.
For your password you can use the same one for
every family member. Your password must be 6-12
characters in length, and must contain at least
one letter and at least one number.
d)Enter the mobile code or
click on the email link that was sent to you.
e)Now that you have logged on just
read and follow the instructions. The difficult
part is over.
f)Please
read and check that all your details are
correct, otherwise we will have to contact you
when we attempt to accept your ‘pending’
request.
You can change any mobile or email
details now. Please
enter an email address and mobile phone number
to allow the club to contact you. Verification
of any Carnival entries will be sent to the
competitor’s email, not the parent or
guardian.
g)The shirt and short size drop down
box is for patrolling members. This is required
so that correct numbers and sizing of uniforms
are allotted by State SLSC when we get new
uniforms. For children under the age of 18 there
are 2 boxes at the bottom of the page for a
parent/guardian to enter their first and last
name. There are also 2 boxes to tick to
acknowledge you have read and agree to this
application and declaration.
h)When you have checked all your
details click ‘Submit’ at the bottom of the
page. The
page will now say SUCCESS. If the page does not
say SUCCESS scroll back up and see what you have
missed. Check that you have ticked the boxes at
the bottom. You must persevere until you see the
page say SUCCESS otherwise you have not
registered.
Repeat this process for each
family member. As suggested above it may be
easier to use the same ONE password for all of
your family members. Write these details down
somewhere as you will need these whenever you
want to log on to update your details or renew
your membership next season.
If you have
followed this guide exactly and have still had
a problem call the HELPDESK on 1300 724 006
between 8am and 5pm Mon-Fri and explain to
them the issue you are having. If it is an
answering machine ring back until you speak to
a person to help.
Your request
for registration will stay ‘pending’
until you address the following:
1.You
have paid your membership fees at the Surf Club

day of Nippers from 9am-10.30am
